I do this and didn’t realise that’s what I was doing! Although my labels are usually Negotiable and Non-negotiable. The BPM also showed me that I can have more time, but it wasn’t sustainable. I need to find a balance. Thanks for highlighting this.
Time has always been my nemesis too. I’ve used this method both professionally and personally and I’m learning, still, to build boundaries around my time. BPM was something I made happen and it taught me that I can be fierce with my boundaries, especially in my personal life, where I am quite bad at giving up my time too easily. We are all a work in progress, right?
Thanks for being here and taking the time to read and comment. 💕
Definitely a work in progress! I have a theory that when I’m no longer a work in progress, I will be moved onto the next stage of the journey ☺️ fierce with my boundaries is a good place to be, my best friend is always telling me to say no more. It’s practice isn’t it! 💪
Absolutely is. I feel like I’ve come a long way, though it’s still a struggle sometimes. I’m very good with everything and everyone except my own family.
Thanks so much my friend. I will reply in short order. So glad you like the name. That means a lot. Thanks for connecting here Susan. I’m very excited about the possibilities here on Substack. Feels like such a nice place to be.
Thanks Alegria. I have used this matrix a lot in work related thinking but it has never once occurred to me to use in my home life - thanks 🙏😊. I also did not know it was attributed to Eisenhower so I feel like I have learned something there too!
So grateful for your lovely message Siobhan. So much of it can be applied to our personal lives, especially when we’re looking to do some soul fulfilling work. Thanks very much for reading and sharing.
